About Microsoft Authenticator App
To help keep Washtenaw Community College’s data secure and protected, the Office of Information Technology Services is transitioning from Duo Authenticate to Microsoft Authenticator as our primary multi-factor authentication (MFA) tool. Microsoft Authenticator works seamlessly with our existing Microsoft applications, providing a more integrated and user-friendly experience.
While some tools (Ultratime, KALPA, Citrix and the Portal) will still require Duo Authenticate for a while longer, Microsoft Authenticator will be used when logging into the WCC Gateway single sign-on system as of January 8, 2025.
