Editor's note: The Winter Transfer Fair has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, because of the snow day on Wednesday.
WCC will host close to 60 representatives from colleges and universities throughout Michigan and beyond at the Winter Transfer Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center building. It’s free to students interested in learning more about their college transfer options.
According to Janine Shahinian, who is helping to organize the event, it is the largest Transfer Fair the College has hosted. Between 25 and 30 percent of WCC students transfer to four-year colleges and universities each year. Bringing together so many transfer institutions under one roof creates a unique opportunity for students to get their questions answered.
