WCC’s photography program provides students with state-of-the-art photographic imaging facilities and access to an incredible range of image capture devices. Our lab space includes a 20-workstation black-and-white darkroom, a 6-bay studio featuring LED and strobe lighting equipment, and two digital imaging labs and production facilities that employ the highest standards in computer hardware and software.
Students also have access to a wide range of cameras and camera-related equipment. Students enrolled in the program can rent, free-of-charge:
- Cameras ranging from 35mm SLR film cameras, digital SLR cameras, digital mirrorless cameras, and medium and large format view cameras
- Lenses ranging from macro to telephoto to tilt-shifts lenses
- Other peripherals including tripods, reflectors, light meters, and environmental lighting equipment
