If you’re an Instructor or member at a local Union of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers, contact your Local JATC/JAC/TIC to:

  • Attend the international union’s annual instructor training program hosted at WCC each July, with +700 attendees from the US and Canada (Instructors only)
  • Take classes online to earn a certificate or associate degree (open to all members)

Qualify to become an Ironworker

Students who successfully complete the 24-credit program qualify to gain entry into an Ironworker Local Union Apprenticeship Training Program where you earn while you learn. Our quality pre-apprenticeship program will teach you the skills needed to be a Union Ironworker across the United States and Canada. Contact us for more information.

Get college credits for your apprenticeship

If you have completed your apprenticeship, you can get college credits for your experience which will help towards your degree. WCC awards 22 credits toward your associate degree at WCC.

How to get your credits:

  • Complete the Apprenticeship Credit Request form
  • Mail the completed form to WCC:
