HBCU Pathway helping WCC alumni achieve their dreams

Less than two years after launching an initiative to help more local students transfer to an HBCU, WCC filled its Towsley Auditorium with more than 400 local high school students to give them a taste of HBCU life.

WCC opens HBCU Pathway, a new pipeline to student success

WCC has established the first comprehensive transfer agreement between a Michigan community college and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Benefits include guaranteed admission, access to in-state tuition and student support.
