DegreeWorks is a web-based tool for you to monitor your academic progress toward completion of any degree or certificate.
A DegreeWorks audit is a review of your coursework. You’ll get information on completed and outstanding requirements necessary to complete a degree or certificate.
DegreeWorks is available to you if you have been enrolled in a course since the Winter 2010 semester. Advisors, faculty, and the Student Records staff also have access to help guide you to program completion.
The information in DegreeWorks is updated (refreshed) each night. Any changes made today (such as grade changes or classes added/dropped) will be available in DegreeWorks tomorrow. Advisors and Student Records staff have the ability to refresh & process a new audit to pull in your latest student data to view any changes that might have happened the same day.
No. DegreeWorks is a snapshot of in-progress courses, planned courses, and your academic course history. To register for classes or make any changes to your current schedule go to the Registration menu in MyWCC.
Yes. DegreeWorks is organized in block format to display degree, program, concentration, 3+1/transfer program, and general education requirements. Look for red unchecked circles to identify requirements you still need to complete.
Yes. You can use the look ahead tool located in the what-if section (see what-if video for help) to see an audit showing courses that you plan to register for in future semesters.
Yes, grades are available in DegreeWorks the day after grades are processed. In-progress courses are listed with an "IP" grade.
No. DegreeWorks is an unofficial audit of your coursework, as well as an outline of requirements still needed to complete your program of study.
Yes. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and then select Class History for a clean and concise list of courses taken.
Select the What-If tool located below the student header block on the right hand side. In the drop down list for program select Liberal Arts-MTA, then click the blue process button.
You should contact a Graduation Technician at 734-973-3546 or 734-973-3658 if you believe your information is incorrect.
You cannot update your program or course changes in DegreeWorks. If you need to change your program go to the Student Services Dashboard in MyWCC then select Request a Program Change. If after running a what-if audit you would like to officially change your catalog year, send an email to degreeworks@wccnet.edu from your WCC email account.
